Gerlisa Hills and Jessica Maiga each scored goals to lead No. 8 Beach Channel to a 2-1 win over No. 9 Choir Academy of Harlem in a PSAL Class B girls soccer first-round game in Rockaway on Monday afternoon.

Cynthia Campos made seven saves for Beach Channel (9-4-1). It advances to play top-seeded and defending ‘B’ champion Flushing, 9-0 winners over Lafayette, 9:30 a.m. Nov. 3 in the quarterfinals. Bruque Drummonds, who lead Choir Academy (7-6) in scoring during the year with 13 goals, found the back of the net in the first half. Schonje Lacks Lockwood made nine saves.

FDR 4, Baruch 0: Aycin Yalcin scored two goals and added an assist for No. 2 FDR (13-0). It advances to play No. 7 A.P. Randolph in 9:30 a.m. Nov. 3 in the quarterfinals. Abije Kaloshi and Natalie Calixto each added scores. Baruch ends the season 5-6-1.

HS for Math and Science 4, John Bowne 0: Amira Hodes scored three goals and added an assist for No. 6 HS for Match and Science (11-0-2). The Dragons play No. 3 Richmond Hill 9:30 a.m. Nov. 3 in the quarterfinals. Claudia Lobenthal had a goal and Rika Imai had an assist. No. 11 John Bowne is 6-7-1.

Richmond Hill 5, Telecommunication 0: Ericka Flores tallied three goals and dished out an assists for No. 3 Richmond Hill (13-1). Erika Juarez added a goal and two assists. No. 14 Telecommunications finishes 6-6-1.

CHSAA

Holy Trinity 2, St. Francis Prep 2: Francesca Rossi came up from the back line and scored from 15 yards out for St. Francis Prep (3-9-3) in the 50th minute in CHSAA Nassau/Suffolk Class AA. The Terriers tied it on an own goal. They needed a win to make the playoffs, which SFP will miss for the first time in at least 12 years. Holy Trinity led 2-0 at the half. St. Francis Prep played without starting sweeper Gina Baglieri and goalkeeper Toni Ann Groth because of injury.

Bishop Kearny 6, Bishop Ford 0: Shannon Rom scored twice on assists from Emily Mason and Shannon Fay, respectively, for Bishop Kearney (9-1-1) in CHSAA Brooklyn/Queens. Christina Abbate, Danielle Farragher, Katie Mason, and Joanna Gavin each added goals. St. John’s Prep is 4-7.

Fontbonne 10, St. Saviour 0: Katie Henderson scored five goals and dished out two assists for Fontbonne (11-0). St. Saviour is 3-7-2.

Good Counsel 4, Cardinal Spellman 0: Liz Treanor made 12 saves for Cardinal Spellman (7-4-1) in the CHSAA Bronx/Westchester semifinals.

Dalton 2, Poly Prep 1: Alexa Yurick scored on an assist from Carolyn Mayer and Isabel Ostrer touching in a long through ball to give Dalton (4-6) a 2-0 lead in the Ivy League. Jess Dahldorf added a goal for Poly Prep (1-10).
