Whenever Tiger Woods decides to return to competitive golf, expect him to return to winning, too.
According to CBSSports.com, PGA Tour player Charles Howell spent an hour with Woods on Monday and said, “”Honestly, he looked as good as he ever has.”
“Seriously, he seemed like he was hitting it the same as he ever did,” said Howell, who was practicing on the same range as Woods.
Woods has not said when he would return to the Tour, but his recent practice session has fueled speculation it would be soon, perhaps in time for the Masters next month.
Howell, one of the few golfers invited to Woods’ wedding, said he didn’t talk to his friend about that.
“Look, I am as curious as anybody about when he is going to play,” Howell said. “But I didn’t want to ask him about that. I just couldn’t.”
