If you’re talking about Saturday night’s $445,594 Yonkers Trot, you’re probably saying Googoo Gaagaa.

Three-year old trotting colt Googoo Gaagaa (post 1) is the 3-5 morning-line favorite in Yonkers Raceway’s signature race.

Googoo Gaagaa, owned and trained by Richard Hans and driven by Corey Callahan, has five wins in six starts this year, including the $500,000 Beal Memorial at Pocono Downs, where he went 1:50 4/5, setting an all-age world record as the fastest mile ever by a trotter on a five-eighths-mile track.

Though Googoo Gaagaa has not competed on a half-mile track this year, the half-mile oval at Yonkers shouldn’t be a problem because he went 1:56 last year at Ocean Downs, which was the fastest mile ever by a 2-year-old trotter on a half-mile track.

The $185,194 Hudson Trot for 3-year-old trotting fillies is a non-wagering race that will take place between races three and four with an estimated post time of 8 p.m.

Check Me Out, co-owned, trained and driven by Ray Schnittker looks to be the best off an impressive victory in the $519,400 Elegant Image.

Post time for the first of 13 races at Yonkers is 7:10 p.m. with the Yonkers Trot scheduled to go off at 9 p.m.
