NEW ORLEANS — Risen Star Stakes winner Mucho Macho Man has been made the 9-5 favorite in a field of 13 entered for the $1 million Louisiana Derby at the Fair Grounds.

Mucho Macho Man will leave from the No. 5 post in Saturday’s 1-mile race that serves as a prep for the Kentucky Derby on May 7. Machen is the 7-2 second choice, followed by Elite Alex at 6-1 odds.
