Hofstra is making a habit of plucking top talent from the Garden State.
Two weeks after landing St. Anthony of Jersey City power forward Jimmy Hall from Brooklyn, the Pride and head coach Mo Cassara picked up Seton Hall Prep combo guard Dallas Anglin, as first reported by The Post.
The 6-foot-1 senior reportedly held offers from Duquesne, Penn State, St. Peter’s, St. Joe’s, Richmond, Towson, Rice and Western Kentucky, but opted for Hofstra.
Not only will Anglin join Hall in Hofstra’s 2012 recruiting class, but transfers Taran Buie (Penn State) and Jamal Coombs-McDaniel (UConn) become eligible as well.
