In the interest of fairness, the Hall might also want to update the plaque of Commis sioner Landis, who did so much to ensure there was a barrier for Robinson to knock down … It wasn’t all bad news at Shea yesterday. Sure, the Metamucils might have lost 13-1, but at least the broken water main that delayed the start of the game helped wash away some of the filth, sludge and raw sewage out at the Lame Duck Dump.
