Horton heals for Bruins
CHICAGO — Bruins forward Nathan Horton practiced yesterday and appears to be on track to play in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals tonight against the Blackhawks.
Bruins coach Claude Julien is still calling Horton day to day, but he says it was encouraging to see him at practice and if he feels good today he will be in the lineup.
Horton left with an unspecified upper body injury while the Bruins were on a power play during the first overtime of Chicago’s 4-3 victory in Game 1 on Wednesday night. Horton skates with David Krejci and Milan Lucic on a line that really hurt the Blackhawks in the series opener.
