The favorite always seems unbeatable — until it falls.
Kentucky is unquestionably the best team in the country, but the Wildcats are vulnerable in the NCAA Tournament, with one game capable of turning perfection to failure.
Kentucky will roll to the Final Four, where they will meet a Wisconsin team capable of exposing their flaws, a team with more experience that won’t be intimidated, a team that can match the Wildcats’ size and score from almost any spot on the floor, a team with the nation’s top player (Frank Kaminsky) but a team that doesn’t depend on one player for success.
The Badgers will win the rematch of last year’s semifinal, using the shortcoming as the fuel for a championship, a la ’91 Duke and ’02 Maryland.
