Logic is practically useless when trying to figure out the Big East. With 11 teams expecting invitations to the Big Dance, no favorite is safe. So with that in mind, carrying the momentum of two straight wins, we’re going to run with a double dose of ‘dogs.

Pittsburgh might be best team in the conference, but it has lost in the quarterfinals the past two years after receiving a double bye. More importantly, going against Kemba Walker right now is a litmus test for sanity.

Let’s ride the guard’s hot hand and UConn (+4½).

Afterward, take Syracuse (+1½), against a sluggish-looking St. John’s. Home court is virtually nonexistent in the tournament and even when the Red Storm had it, the Orange thrashed it 76-59 for its only loss at the Garden this season.

Record: 2-1
