The Hunter College HS girls fencing team won a second straight PSAL city championship Saturday at City College of New York.

The Hawks, who finished undefeated, won both the foil and epee against Townsend Harris in the title match. The foil squad was made up of Yujin Jung, Sho Lin Chen and Nicole Dwyer. The epee team was Katherine Miller, Flora Lang and Olivia Briffault.

Hunter, which defeated Bronx Science in the semifinals, was coached by Nadia Nazarov and Eugene Nazarov. Last year, which served as the program’s breakthrough, the Hawks defeated McKee/Staten Island Tech in the championship. They have not lost a PSAL match since May 9, 2009, a first-round playoff meeting with Townsend Harris.
