Kemba Walker had 31 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds to lead No. 13 Connecticut to a 78-70 victory over No. 9 Georgetown last night in Hartford, Conn., snapping the Hoyas’ eight-game winning streak.

Jamal Coombs-McDaniel had 23 points in his second straight big game for the Huskies (20-5, 8-5 Big East), who had lost three of their last five, including two at home.

Chris Wright had 19 points for the Hoyas (20-6, 9-5), who went on their winning streak after starting conference play 1-4.

Iona 102,

Manhattan 65

In The Bronx, Scott Machado led five Iona players in double figures with 20 points in a rout of Manhattan.

Iona (17-10, 11-5 MAAC), which never trailed, shot 66.7 percent from the field (36-of-54) and 59.3 percent from 3-point range (16-of-27). Manhattan (5-22, 3-12) was led by George Beamon with 21 points.

Saint Peter’s 67,

Siena 57

In Albany, Jeron Belin scored 17 of his 19 points in the second half and Saint Peter’s (16-11, 11-5 MAAC) rallied past Siena (10-16, 7-9).

Cincinnati 63, L’ville 54

In Cincinnati, Cashmere Wright scored 20 points, Sean Kilpatrick added 18 and Cincinnati (20-6, 7-6) bolstered its NCAA tournament resume with a victory over No. 16 Louisville (19-7, 8-5).

Pittsburgh 67, So. Fla. 55

In Pittsburgh, Nasir Robinson and Brad Wanamaker each had 13 points and No. 4 Pittsburgh (24-2, 12-1 Big East) pulled away over the final 10 minutes to beat South Florida (8-9, 2-12).
