Basketball is here and Thomas Jefferson will get it all started Saturday afternoon. The Brooklyn school will host its eighth annual Hersh Tip-Off Classic on Saturday. Admission is $5. The schedule includes six games featuring 12 PSAL teams and kicks off with Jefferson’s alumni game and inter-squad scrimmage at 9:30 a.m. Below is the schedule:

9:30 a.m. – Thomas Jefferson scrimmage and alumni game

11 a.m. – Wadleigh vs. Thomas Edison

12:45 p.m. – Medgar Evers vs. Teachers Prep

2:30 p.m. – Acorn vs. Long Island City

4:15 p.m. – Bedford Academy vs. HS For Construction

5:45 p.m. – Brooklyn Collegiate vs. McKee/Staten Island Tech

7:30 p.m. – Martin Van Buren-George Westinghouse
