The Jets yesterday entertained two more potential free-agent signees at Weeb Ewbank Hall when receiver Tim Dwight and cornerback Kenny Wright visited.

Dwight is a valuable multi-purpose player with whom Jet head coach Eric Mangini is very familiar, having coached him in New England last season.

A speedster, Dwight caught 19 passes for a 17.5-yard average and three TDs last season. He also returned 10 kickoffs for a 25-yard average, and was the Patriots’ regular punt returner, averaging 8.5 yards per return.

As for Wright, he picked off two passes for the Jaguars last season. The Jets, who opted not to bring back Ty Law, are in obvious need at corner.
