Jets/COLTS (Under 39½): Seems cozy way to take advantage of Jets’ clock-eating, ball-control attributes without sweating every tipped pass, special-teams adventure and/or turnover. Mark Sanchez ill-advised pass attempts virtually non-existent vs. Chargers. He will need to be that precise against quicksilver defensive front — but one which could wear down under sustained pounding. Under, for one unit.

Vikings/SAINTS (Over 52½): This is beaucoup points for conference championship game, but Minnesota defenders DE Ray Edwards and DT Kevin Williams are nicked up. With Arizona and Green Bay (and their vulnerable defenses) put aside, these are best NFC offenses left. Vikings stuffed out-to-lunch Giants and offensive-line-flawed Cowboys, but this is much more difficult task, especially in Superdome. Can’t envision Favre getting stifled in what’s huge regional homecoming. Vikes/Saints let good times roll (over) for one unit.

LAST WEEK: 1-1 (even units). Cowboys (minus one unit). Jets (plus one unit).

SEASON: 28-27-1 (plus one unit).
