ABSTRACT:

It didn’t wind up costing them the game, but the Jets know that plays like the one at the end of the first half during yesterday’s 34-24 playoff win over the Jaguars can kill a season.

Six seconds remained on the clock and Jacksonville WR Jimmy Smith streaked down the sideline and remarkably got behind the Jets’ secondary. he caught the ball 52 yards downfield in the end zone, beating a diving Jerome Henderson.

But yesterday, the Jets did and Henderson wasn’t worried about it happening again.

“It was a bad, bad play, but you learn from it and move on,” he said.
