The Jets yesterday signed two free agents, punter Tim Morgan and defensive end Joey Evans, both of whom played together with Frankfurt of NFL Europe.

Morgan played for San Jose State in college and is a left-footed punter.

Evans is a 6-4, 279-pounder out of the University of North Carolina.
