Darelle Revis sounds like he wants to make up for missing out on “Hard Knocks.”

The Jets cornerback, who was a central figure in last summer’s HBO series despite not appearing on camera until the final scene. told ESPN.com he would like to do a reality show with best friend John Geiger.

“You really need to see the private videos we’ve already done. They are awesome,” Revis told the website. “I couldn’t imagine doing a reality show where you see me doing just everyday things. Who would want to see that? I’d want us to do something, like an adventure.”

The Jets raised their national profile with the HBO reality series, filmed mostly while Revis was holding out for a new contract.

Now, with the NFL in a lockout that will at least delay if not cancel entirely the 2011 season, Revis is considering other options. He said he’d like his show to be similar to MTV’s “Rob & Big,” which aired from 2006-08 and starred pro skateboarder Rob Drydek and friend/bodyguard “Big Black” Boykin.

“That’s the kind of show I’d want to do. Those guys are awesome,” Revis said. “Me and John are like that.”

The report does not say if any network is interested.

Revis and Geiger, now the All-Pro cornerback’s business manager, have been friends since childhood, the website says.
