The Jets yesterday placed receiver and kick returner Jonathan Carter on injured reserve for the season because of his injured left knee and signed receiver Ken-Yon Rambo to the regular roster.

The Jets also signed receiver Lawrence Hamilton off the Bengals’ practice squad. They, too, released defensive back Ray Green and placed RB Johnathan Reese on the practice squad.

The Jets’ roster currently stands at 52 players.
