Jim Harbaugh will do whatever it takes to make Michigan a national champion. He’ll sleep over at recruits’ homes. He’ll go to school with them. He’ll spend his summer working satellite camps. And, now, he’ll star in a music video.

Harbaugh appears in a recently released rap video, featuring San Francisco-based artist Bailey, for the track “Who’s Got It Better Than Us?” Harbaugh raps those six words throughout the 2:32 video, which is filmed inside the Glick Field House and at Michigan Stadium, filled with shots of Michigan players, cheerleaders and fans during games.

Is it over the top? Sure. You won’t see Nick Saban or Urban Meyer in a music video anytime soon. But that’s Harbaugh being Harbaugh, doing whatever he feels is needed to extend the Wolverines’ brand, to make sure every top recruit in the country not only knows who he is, but wants to play for him and attend Michigan.

This music video may not help recruiting, but it sure won’t hurt. The same can be said for the satellite camps.

Harbaugh is showing kids he will go as far as is needed to win. The video is just the latest example.
