Kareem jabs at James
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said the NBA should raise its minimum age for entry into the league to 21. And he thinks LeBron James would be a better player had he gone to college.
Speaking in Omaha, Neb., the NBA’s all-time scoring leader said many young players arrive in the NBA unprepared for both on- and off-the-court challenges.
Abdul-Jabbar, 63, said James would have arrived in the NBA with “very polished” skills had he played college ball.
The NBA in 2005 changed its entry age to 19.
