LOUISVILLE – As expected, Bob Baffert’s pair of Govenor Charlie and Code West, Todd Pletcher’s Winning Cause and the California-based Tiz a Minister were withdrawn on Monday from consideration for Saturday’s Kentucky Derby.

That allows longshot Golden Soul to draw into the race, but barring a late-minute surprise, the field will stand at 19, not the maximum 20, when entries are taken on Wednesday.
