Kings owner Joe Maloof sounded down on Brown.

“Obviously, he’s one of the best coaches of all time,” Maloof told ESPN. “But I think at this time, we probably wouldn’t be interested.

He’s under contract to another team, anyway. We haven’t given him a thought.” The Knicks would want Brown to get another job as it would offset the $40 million he’s owed. Golden State is a possibility, but Brown does have an image to repair.
