LONDON — Knicks coach Mike Woodson looked like just a regular British commoner yesterday, waiting on a long queue, drenched by the cold rain outside the basketball venue at Olympic Park.
Woodson is on a European vacation with his family and will spend a week at the Olympics, but with no special access. Woodson was waiting for 30 minutes on the regular ticket-admissions line before yesterday’s Team USA victory over France after making the long, soggy walk from the train with his wife, Terri, and daughters, Alexis and Mariah.
Woodson is on a gag order by the organization and can’t talk Knicks business, but was in a jolly mood anyway.
Woodson will also watch Argentina, whose point guard is new Knick Pablo Prigioni.
