Unrestricted free-agent center Michael Doleac told The Post that Knick GM Scott Layden invited him for a recruiting visit and he is expected take them up on the offer.

“Yeah, I think I’ll come down,” said the 6-11, 260-pounder who spent the day water-skiing in Utah.

However, a Knick official and Doleac’s agent said nothing has been set. Doleac said Layden’s offer was made during their hour meeting at a Salt Lake City coffeehouse Saturday. Doleac believes the Knicks, Bulls, Clippers and Memphis are in the mix, though Memphis just signed 7-3 center Cezary Trybanksi of Poland.

The Keon Clark pursuit is picking up steam with the Knicks still waiting on the sidelines. Though Layden spoke with Clark’s agent Monday after news came out about Clark’s new unrestricted status, he has yet to make a recruiting invite.

Clark, the 6-11, 220-pounder who’s the most talented big man available for the mid-level exception, instead will make two recruiting visits in the next few days – to Sacramento and Orlando.

Philly, Orlando and Sacramento are the three front-runners. Clark is looking for a warm-weather city.
