If the Liberty hold true to recent form, they will lose tonight’s road game against the Connecticut Sun (7:00, ESPN2). That’s because the Libs have alternated wins and losses for their past 11 games, a stretch that dates back to June 14, and after pulling out a comeback win over the conference-leading Detroit Shock on Saturday, the squad is due for a defeat.

By topping the Shock, the Liberty (10-9) peeked a game above .500 for the sixth time this season, but they are yet to go two games over.

“It is frustrating,” head coach Pat Coyle said of her squad’s inability to mount a winning streak. “We’ve been playing much better than in the first few weeks of the season.”

The Liberty are tied for third in the East.
