The last four months comes down to three days for CHSAA girls basketball teams. Eight teams remain in both the ‘AA’ and the ‘A’ and the task is a difficult one: win three games this weekend and represent the league in Albany at the New York State Federation tournament.

That’s the goal for every team left. Everything else was just a warmup for their big moment. Will Christ the King be able to repeat at the highest classification? Can the Nazareth players make it upstate in its first year in Brooklyn? Do one of the Staten Island teams – St. Peter’s or Moore Catholic – have a Cinderella run in them? Can Archbishop Molloy or Cardinal Spellman head upstate as an ‘A?’
