Eric Mangini has been hired as the next coach of the Browns.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Mangini has started talking to two Jets assistants about coming with him to Cleveland. Mangini has targeted quarterbacks coach Brian Daboll and receivers coach Noel Mazzone for key offensive positions with the Browns, according to the Plain Dealer’s source.

The Jets fired Mangini after the team lost four of their final five games and missed the playoffs. The Jets search for Mangini’s replacement is ongoing.
