For Red Bulls fans that said former Managing Director Marc de Grandpre knew more about drinks than soccer, you’re right. He quit for destinations unknown, de Grandpre has apparently gone back to what he knows, trading in Red Bull for the Purple Beverage Company.

He’d be the third Red Bulls exec that the fast-rising Purple Beverage Company has taken. Not that any of them are going to have a glaring effect on the product on the field.
