MET FAN DIES AT RALLY
A Mets fan suffered a fatal heart attack at yesterday’s pep rally in Bryant Park.
The man, whose name was not released, was waiting for the Subway Series festivities to begin when he suddenly collapsed.
A police officer who was standing a couple of feet away rushed to the man’s aid and paramedics performed CPR on him in front of a throng of stunned fans.
An ambulance crew took the man to St. Clare’s Hospital, where police said he was pronounced dead of cardiac arrest.
