Al Michaels and Bob Costas will return to a baseball broadcast booth on July 8 to call Mets vs. Giants.
The duo will call innings for SNY, Comcast Bay Area and MLB Network.
When Michaels and Costas are on SNY, Mets broadcasters Gary Cohen and Ron Darling will move to MLB Network.
Michaels famously was the lead ABC baseball broadcaster when an earthquake struck the 1989 World Series. Costas was an NBC baseball play-by-play man.
It is the first pairing of the longtime broadcasters, and Michaels’ first baseball game since 1995.
The Friday night game (10 p.m. EDT) can be seen locally only on SNY.
