Looking to follow in the footsteps of Matt Lauer and Al Roker before her, ESPN reporter Michelle Beadle will be adding “movie star” to her already reputable resume. That’s right, the bubbly blond will be joining the cast of “Sharknado 3.”

After discovering that her “SportsNation” co-host Marcellus Wiley had joined the highly anticipated threequel, Beadle kicked off a social media campaign to score a role of her own.

“I find it highly ridiculous that those guys at ‘Sharknado 3’ would invite Marcellus to be in a movie and me, a die-hard ‘Sharknado’ fan since minute one, nothing,” Beadle complained Tuesday, before introducing her “CastBeadleInSharknado” hashtag to the masses.

America, more specifically “Sharknardo” casting director Gerald Webb, heard Beadle’s plea and granted her wish on-air Thursday afternoon.

Though Wiley’s role is still a mystery, Webb confirmed that Beadle will be stepping in to special agent shoes in this summer’s must-see movie.

And who says dreams don’t come true?
