HICKORY, N.C. — How do you know when the Albert Haynesworth conditioning test has officially become a fad? When a minor league baseball team makes it a promotion.

The Single-A Hickory Crawdads of the South Atlantic League are holding a “Haynesworth Conditioning Challenge” after their game on Aug. 12.

Fans will get a chance to run the Washington Redskins conditioning test, the one Haynesworth has yet to pass. Those who do it in the required time will receive two season tickets for the rest of the year. Everyone who tries it will get a free ticket to an upcoming game.

In addition, anyone named Albert or wearing a Redskins jersey gets in free to the game.

The team had planned to hold the promotion Thursday, but the game was rained out.
