Mo’ne Davis: wise beyond her years.

The uber-mature 13-year-old former Little League sensation asked Bloomsburg University to reinstate the baseball player who was kicked off the team for a disgusting tweet criticizing a planned Disney movie about Davis’ nation-captivating baseball exploits.

“Everyone makes mistakes and I know — he would if it was me — I know I would want to take that back,” she said Monday on “SportsCenter.”

“Everyone deserves a second chance. I know he didn’t mean it in that type of way. I know people get tired of seeing me on TV. But sometimes you got to think about what you’re doing before you do it.”

For the time being, Davis’ request is falling on deaf ears. TMZ reported the school has no plans to reinstate the tweeter: “Right now, we’re standing firm.” The school confirmed that decision to the AP and added that they appreciate her “level of maturity.”

Here was the inflammatory tweet by Joey Casselberry, which deployed a crude slur to describe a teenage girl:
