The loved — or hated — “Boomer & Carton” is coming to television.
The show, which is on from 6-10 a.m. weekday morning, will be aired on MSG Network starting Tuesday, Sept. 14. Those who listen on WFAN know Craig Carton’s controversial schtick, which some enjoy and some despise, and how it plays alongside former Bengals and Jets quarterback Boomer Esiason.
“As a kid growing up in New Rochelle there was nothing more amazing than going to Knicks games at Madison Square Garden,” Carton said in a press release.
“Having the opportunity to partner with MSG now as an adult is just as amazing. Boomer and I look forward to bringing our radio show to MSG Network and allowing all of our listeners to watch what we do while they continue to listen to us on The Fan.”
They will be the second WFAN show to be aired on television. The YES Network began airing “Mike & the Mad Dog” — now the “Mike Francesa Show” — since 2002.
