Chris Carlin is leaving SNY to host an afternoon radio show on WIP in Philadelphia, sources confirmed.

Carlin has been a staple of the airwaves in New York, working as a producer for Don Imus and Mike Francesa at WFAN and working as a fill-in host for the sports station.

The 44-year-old New Jersey native also has been a host of “Loud Mouths” — SNY’s local answer to ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption” — since 2008.

Carlin will work alongside former Eagles linebacker Ike Reese on the radio gig.

Carlin is also the voice of Rutgers football.

The news of Carlin’s hire was first reported by Josh Innes, the man he is replacing at WIP.
