Criminal charges won’t be filed against the woman who sparked the Mets’ pot-smoking scandal last year when she released a photo of pitcher Grant Roberts using a bong, the Queens district attorney’s office said yesterday.

Roberts claimed that Jodi Turner, 28, of Northport, L.I., tried to extort $15,000 from him before releasing the 1998 photo of Roberts.

The picture was published in a newspaper alongside an article about alleged marijuana use among the Mets.

“We have thoroughly examined and reviewed all of the facts and circumstances involved in this matter and have concluded that there is insufficient evidence to support the filing of criminal charges,” DA Richard Brown said in a statement.

Roberts declined comment. Turner could have been charged with grand larceny and coercion.
