At the Meadowlands, the A Line goes ape with five goals as Devs open up 4-0 after two to chase Patrick Roy, with John Madden scoring fourth off the back of Roy. Patrik Elias completes his hat trick with third-period pair against David Aebischer. Martin Brodeur loses the shutout in the third off his own failed clearance up the boards to Shjon Podein.
