St. John’s spokesman Mark Fratto said the Red Storm did not hold a players only meeting yesterday in the wake of its 77-52 loss at Georgetown because of the late return from Washington and the blizzard that hit the metropolitan area and closed the university.

Senior Dwight Hardy reportedly said he thought it was time for a players only meeting after the Red Storm lost its third straight, dropping it to 11-8 overall and 4-5 in the Big East. St. John’s plays No. 2 Duke on Sunday in the Garden.
