After U.S. marathon star Meb Keflezighi lost a six-second heartbreaker to Kenyan Thomas Nyariki in Sunday’s NYC Half-Marathon, both Nyariki and American Allan Culpepper committed yesterday to run the Nov. 5 New York Marathon.

Keflezighi, the Olympic silver medalist, will decide in 7-10 days, saying “Last year at this time I was still rehabbing, and now I’m coming off a 1:01 half, so I’m way ahead.”
