They don’t have a leg to stand on.

More than 200 runners were busted cheating in China’s Shenzhen half marathon — with some taking short cuts or hiring people to finish it for them, according to reports.

Some of the bad sports were caught on camera cutting through a patch of trees to shave nearly 2 miles off the grueling 13-mile course, according to ABC.

To increase their chances of winning prize money, some of the lazy athletes hired in-shape impostors to pound the pavement for them, CNN reported. In other cases, two runners were caught wearing the same bib number.

Cops in Shenzhen released traffic camera footage showing the lazy athletes cutting through a wooded area flanked by pavement.

“We deeply regret the violations that occurred during the event,” an unnamed event organizer told the station. “Marathon running is not simply exercise, it is a metaphor for life, and every runner is responsible for him or herself.”

Runners caught wearing fake bib numbers or hiring someone else to compete for them were banned from the race for life. The 237 other cheaters were banned for two years, according to CNN.

The race gave away $17,000 in prize money this year, with first-place male and female winners taking home roughly $4,300 each, according to its website.
