In a week when they learned star players Charles Woodson and Greg Jennings are sidelined indefinitely, the Packers could be without another key starter tomorrow against the Jaguars.

Jordy Nelson, who has been the team’s top receiver in Jennings’ absence, is questionable after suffering a hamstring injury in practice Wednesday.

The Packers ruled out fullback John Kuhn (hamstring), along with linebacker Nick Perry (knee) and cornerback Sam Shields (ankle).

PATRIOTS: TE Aaron Hernandez will miss tomorrow’s game against the Rams in London while he recovers from a sprained ankle. The Patriots have listed him as out to give him extra time to recover with a bye week coming up.

REDSKINS: LB London Fletcher, who has never missed an NFL game in 15 seasons, took part in a full workout, one day after undergoing some six hours of tests for what coach Mike Shanahan has called a “balance issue.” Fletcher, who said he does not have a concussion, is listed as questionable with head and hamstring injuries for the game against the Steelers.

STEELERS:Jonathan Dwyer likely will get another chance to be a feature running back. Dwyer, No. 3 on Pittsburgh’s depth chart, expects to start against the Redskins because Rashard Mendenhall is out again with an Achilles injury and Isaac Redman (right ankle sprain) is questionable.

DOLPHINS: CB Richard Marshall (back) has been ruled out against the Jets.

TITANS: LT Michael Roos’ 119-game consecutive starts streak will come to an end as he has been ruled him out for the game vs. the Colts.

NFL: League lawyers filed a motion in U.S. District Court in New Orleans, arguing that former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue should be allowed to hear appeals on the Saints’ bounties case next week.

BOUNTYGATE: NFL lawyers filed a motion in U.S. District Court in New Orleans yesterday, arguing former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue should be allowed to hear appeals on the Saints’ bounties case next week.

In their motion, NFL lawyers quote defendant Jonathan Vilma’s statement to ESPN in which he supported Tagliabue being appointed to the role, saying, “I think it’s a good first step for Paul to be the neutral arbitrator.”

The action comes after the players’ union and the four players suspended in the bounties’ case filed a motion asking that Tagliabue recuse himself from the case because of what they say is a conflict of interest. They want a neutral arbitrator to be appointed by the court.
