Apache Paschall will not be disciplined – at least for now.

The CHSAA Brooklyn/Queens principals committee discussed the Nazareth girls basketball coach’s pending investigation regarding alleged recruiting at its meeting Wednesday and decided to “table the discussion” for now, according Christ the King principal Peter Mannarino.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen later on,” Mannarino said. “All I know is they’re going to address it at a later date.”

Paschall, who guides the nationally ranked Lady Kingsmen, was not told of the results of the meeting as of Wednesday afternoon. Nazareth was facing a year ban if it was found that the coach had “professionally recruited,” or induced players to come to the school through financial means.
