FOXSports.com reports Phillies pitcher Pedro Martinez will continue his climb back to the major leagues by facing Mets minor leaguers in a game in Florida on Sunday.

The report says Martinez will pitch for Clearwater against the St. Lucie Mets of the Single-A Florida State League.

The 37-year-old former Mets right-hander pitched a simulated game on Tuesday.
