The Eagles (20-15) advanced to play top-seeded Louisville on Friday. Alabama State finished at 22-10.
Stephen Curry had 32 points as Davidson (27-7) beat the host Gamecocks (21-10) in the first round of the NIT. The Wildcats next face St. Mary’s (27-6), a 68-57 winner last night over Washington State (17-16).

In Lewiston, Kahiem Seawright scored 20 points in the second half and the Rams (23-10) ousted Niagara (26-9) in the NIT.

In State College, Talor Battle scored eight of his game-high 24 points in overtime as Penn State (23-11) advanced in the NIT.
