After a nasty collision with catcher Katherine Greissman in a win against Horace Mann on Friday, Victoria Capozucca wasn’t sure if she would pitch Saturday morning.

As it turned out, the only thing that didn’t happen was Hackley getting a hit. Capozucca twirled a no-hitter for Poly Prep in a 10-0 win that gives the Blue Devils their fifth straight undefeated Ivy League season. Coincidentally, that’s also how long Capozucca has been pitching at the Bay Ridge school – she started as an eighth grader.

The hitting stars for Poly Prep (12-0), which has not lost a league game since 2005, were Katy Kirker and Erica Sollazzo for the second straight day. Capozucca gave up two first-inning runs against rival Horace Mann on Friday, but the Blue Devils came back to win that one 9-2.

Poly Prep, ranked No. 5 in New York City by The Post, will meet No. 3 James Madison on Monday and No. 1 St. Joseph by the Sea on Friday in preparation for next weekend’s NYSAISAA tournament. The Blue Devils are trying to extend their record of four straight state titles.
