Craig Jacoby has only been head football coach at Brooklyn’s Poly Prep for five games, but he’ll be hard-pressed to top the win his team earned yesterday.

P.J. Hill’s 35-yard touchdown run with 1:21 to go in the fourth quarter put the Blue Devils ahead, and they held on to beat New Jersey powerhouse Delbarton, 18-15.

“This was a huge, huge win for us,” said Jacoby, whose team improved to 4-1. Delbarton fell to 3-1. “This puts us on the map.”

Hill finished with 110 yards on 14 carries and Poly Prep also got scores from Paul Anderson and Dan Corrigan.

Hackley 14, Riverdale 13

Sam DeLuca Jr. kicked a 33-yard field goal as time expired to give Hackley (5-0) the win. Riverdale fell to 3-1.
