Kareem Maddox scored 20 points and Dan Mavraides scored all 14 of his during a late comeback as Princeton moved into first place in the Ivy League with a 66-61 victory over visiting Columbia last night.

It was the 11th win in 12 games for the Tigers (22-5, 10-1), who have a half-game lead over Harvard (21-5, 10-2), which lost 70-69 to Yale in New Haven, Conn.

Noruwa Agho led Columbia (14-12, 5-7) with 21 points.

In Brooklyn, David Hicks scored 22 points and Julian Boyd had 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead Long Island University (24-5, 16-2 NEC) over Central Connecticut State (18-11, 11-7).

In Brooklyn, Ricky Cadell scored 22 points and Travis Nichols added 18 points and 10 rebounds as St. Francis of N.Y. (15-14, 10-8 NEC) defeated Bryant (9-21, 7-11).

At the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J., James Delroy scored 29 points and all 12 players scored for Rhode Island (18-10, 9-5 Atlantic 10) in a rout of Fordham.

Brenton Butler scored 12 points to lead the Rams (6-20, 0-14), who lost their 16th in a row and 40th straight in A-10 play — since a win at St. Bonaventure in 2009.

In Moon Township, Pa., Coron Williams scored 26 points and Robert Morris (16-13, 12-6 NEC) beat Wagner (13-16, 9-9), which got 19 points from Tyler Murray.

In Hamden, Conn., Justin Rutty scored 14 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Quinnipiac (21-8, 13-5 NEC) over Fairleigh Dickinson (5-24, 3-15) despite Mike Scott’s game-high 27 points.

In Fairfield, Conn., Shane Gibson hit six 3-pointers and scored 24 points and Louis Montes had 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead Sacred Heart (11-18, 5-13 NEC) over Monmouth (9-21, 5-13), which was led by Mike Myers Keitt’s 20 points.
