Tottenville is peaking at the right time.
The third-seeded Pirates were thought to have gotten a tough draw with No. 14 Manhattan Center, but the Pirates moved on comfortably anyway, routing the Rams, 10-1, in Huguenot in the second round of the PSAL Class A playoffs Saturday.
Mike Sullivan homered and drove in four runs, Vin Aiello struck out nine over six innings and allowed just two hits, John Giakas had two hits and drove in three runs and Carmelo Catapano scored twice for Tottenville (17-3), last year’s runner-up which meets No. 6 John Adams in the quarterfinals Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Old Boys High Field in Brooklyn. Manhattan Center ends its season at 12-6.
No. 6 John Adams 5, No. 11 John F. Kennedy 1: Braylin Abreu tossed a four-hitter and Adonis Castillo drove in a run for Adams (16-2), which meets No. 3 Tottenville in the quarterfinals Tuesday at Old Boys High Field in Brooklyn. Kennedy ends the year at 12-6.

No. 4 Harry Van Arsdale 12, No. 29 Arts & Business 2: Ricardo Herasme had two hits, scored three runs and drove in three, Adam Pequero had three hits and two RBIs and Herasme fanned 12 in 5-2/3 for Van Arsdale (15-1), which faces No. 13 Law, Government & Justice in the second round Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at McCarren Park in Brooklyn. Arts & Business ends the year at 9-8.
No. 9 Bronx Science 7, No. 24 Thomas Jefferson 0: Henry Rice had two hits, scored twice and drove in three runs, Glen Price also had two RBIs and Charles Goetz struck out six in six innings of three-hit ball for Bronx Science (15-2), which takes on No. 8 Lab Museum in the second round Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Flushing Meadows/Corona Park. Jefferson ends its season at 11-6.

Flushing finishes 12-5.
No. 15 Transit Tech 4, No. 19 Juan Morel Campos 2: Jacob Morillo went the distance, struck out nine, allowed two hits and no earned runs and Antonio Mediavilla had two hits and scored once for Transit Tech (14-3), which meets second-seeded Grady in the second round Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Juan Morel Campos finishes 12-3.
