Jean Allende Amparo went the first 5 1/3 innings, striking out four and allowing four hits, for the win, freshman Estefano Hernandez went the final 1 2/3 for the save and Melvin Mercedes had two hits and two RBIs for Clinton (6-2), which trails division leader Monroe by one game in the loss column. South Bronx, ranked sixth in the PSAL by The Post, falls to 5-3.
No. 2 George Washington 3, West 50th Street 1: Randy Rodriguez drove in a run and Fernelys Sanchez and Justin Ferrer each scored once for George Washington (8-0) in Manhattan A East. West 50th is still winless at 0-8 in Manhattan A West.
No. 4 James Monroe 4, Morris 3: Fraelyn Paez homered and drove in two runs, Jesus Brito picked up the win in relief and Jordan Frair doubled, scored a run and knocked in one for Monroe (7-1) in Bronx A East, Morris is now 4-3.
No. 5 Tottenville 11, Port Richmond 1: Michael Sullivan doubled twice, scored twice and had three RBIs, Anthony Capo and Tom Kain also scored two runs each and Kevin Krause drove in two runs for Tottenville (9-0) in Staten Island A. Port Richmond is 3-8.
No. 8 William Bryant 13, Bayside 1: Christian Aubry doubled twice and drove in three runs, Brian Esposito scored twice and notched three RBIs and Nick Alvarez scored three times for Bryant (6-0) in Queens A West. Bayside is 2-7 in Queens A East.
No. 9 John Adams 16, Forest Hills 7: Jeffrey Valera homered, scored three times and added five RBIs, Jorge Barahoma notched three hits and two RBIs and Shawn Jimenez scored three runs for Adams (8-0), which broke the game open with nine runs in the sixth innings, in Queens A West. Forest Hills is 6-3 in Queens A East, but has lost three in a row.
Manhattan Center 7, Environmental Studies 1: Tom Liang went the distance, striking out seven and allowing five hits, for the win, Dabian Canales had two RBIs, Alex Sanchez, Liang and Jesus Medina each scored twice for Manhattan Center (7-2) in Manhattan A East. Environmental Studies is now 4-5 in Manhattan A West.
Fort Hamilton 4, Midwood 0: Jonathan Maldonado twirled six innings of shutout ball for his third win, he also scored twice and drove in a run and Tamel Galan added an RBI for Fort Hamilton (7-2) in Brooklyn A West. Midwood, which has lost two straight, is 5-3 in Brooklyn A East.
Curtis 4, Petrides 1: Joe Curatolo tossed a complete-game, six-hitter and struck out four, Matthew Cortes scored once and drove in a run and Andrew Rios had two hits and also scored a run for Curtis (6-6) in Staten Island A. Petrides is 3-9.
Susan Wagner 4, McKee/Staten Island Tech 3: Matt Fazio got the win with two innings of relief, Anthony Alberghina drove in two runs and Kevin Icaza had two hits and scored a run for Susan Wagner (5-5) in Staten Island A. MSIT falls to 7-4.

Renaissance 24, Far Rockaway 1: Nathaniel Abreu had three hits, scored three runs and drove in six, Matthew Carrion scored five runs and added three RBIs and Jordan White scored three runs and drove in three for Renaissance (3-7), which pushed across 15 runs in the second inning, in Queens B South.
