With the win, the Kangaroos clinched their first outright division title since 2004. They are now 20-5 overall, 12-2 in league play and have won eight straight divisional contests.
Wadleigh 76, FDA 42: Malik Thomas scored 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and Basil Harley added 14 points and five assists for Manhattan AA champion Wadleigh (12-2). FDA is still winless at 0-14.
Thomas Jefferson 58, Lincoln 53: Thaddeus Hall scored 18 points and Davontay Grace had 16 points and seven assists for Jefferson (10-3) in Brooklyn AA. Lincoln, which has lost two straight, is 10-4.
Cardozo 79, Bayside 50: Dwayne Brunson and Malcolm Brooks each scored 15 points and Ryan Rhoomes had 13 for Cardozo (11-2) in Queens AA. The Judges face Forest Hills on Friday to decide the division crown. Bayside is 3-11.
Forest Hills 56, Beach Channel 42: Denzel Dulin and Maurice Harkless (12 rebounds) each scored 13 points for Forest Hills (11-2) in Queens AA. Beach Channel fell to 8-6.
Martin Van Buren 86, Thomas Edison 82 OT: Malcolm McGulivary scored 26 points and Orlando Johnson added 18 for Martin Van Buren (8-5) in Queens AA. Edison, which got 18 points and eight assists from Cavon Baker, is 8-6.
